Weekend Roundup : jump and dump

This weekend started off with a peaceful and beautiful hike through the bolsa chica wetlands...the perfect place to take a lil hike or run with the kids. The weather was perfect and it's beauty kept me thinking GOSH WE ARE SO LUCKY TO LIVE HERE!
We decorated...baked...and waited for the big kids to arrive and surprise them with a lil Easter party to celebrate the beginning of spring break.

The hunk and I were able to sneak away for a date night.
Saturday afternoon we took the kids to get air in hb and I can't believe how much they loved it! It was wall to wall trampolines...but my favorite part was that it was really clean! At $12 a person per hour Jamas and I both agreed biting worth every penny!
It was so fun to watch everyone jump...and burn energy!

White men can jump...see!
And Sunday the Bella bear and I set up my final pop up shop at long beach. I'm off to my next adventure with the style bandit....one that won't take me away even for a second from my family.
It was another great weekend!

Weekend Roundup: where's Johnny edition

Barbara who?

Bella's school talent show was this past Thursday and I was more excited to watch her perform! I anticipated the show as much as any broadway show..way more!

I took my darling dress shopping not just for her performance but because she deserved it with her straight a's. We have a secret little girls dress shop that might be the last one on the planet that sells age appropriate clothing for Tweens and not hoochie wear!

She did so amazing...as always she left me teary eyed and so impressed!

Her papa bear has the magic touch and has a special method to giving her Diana Ross hair! Hahahahaha
She was divine!

Weekend Roundup: hibernate for the polar bear

This weekend we put the Bryan Arnold adventures on pause because one of the crew got a yucky cold and needed some extra special TLC.
I snuck a hair cut in because my hair was disgusting long and I just couldn't take it longer...it feels so good!
The blueberry spent a lonely weekend because his best friend was in bed getting better and this reminded me how happy and lucky we were to be able to give them each other!
He took anyway he could get him
And the only positive thing is staying home allowed us to check a bunch of stuff off our to do list...hanging this tv...upgrading some things in the kids bathroom and cleaning the heck out of this house!
But at the end of the day what I mostly did was snuggle this bunny!

Weekend round up....I'm back again edition!

Back to our weekend roundup where I can reminisce on of fun filled pack of days with all my kids and hubby and where I can hopefully give you all some ideas for family fun trips.

We started off as we often do with all four kids sharing pizza on a picnic in the backyard...before we shuttle Bella over to ballet.

Not before our rascal scared us with a lil crafting of his blonde locks during craft time.
Saturday morning after we dropped Bella of at her musical theater rehearsal and Johnny at his band rehearsal we took advantage of taking the lil ones to a trip the bigs ones maybe wouldn't enjoy as much.
The Huntington botanical gardens and library in Pasadena.
The kids were free but adults are 23 each!
The kids garden was cute....but  I felt but could have been much better!
It was however a breath taking day.
The boys loved it.
The garden house was adorable
Lots of running

A lil mama break
Daddy break
And after a long nap...jacuZzi time...
Sunday morning we visited the long beach antique market aka my Shangrila!!!!
Such a cool place...more like a museum!

And a certain lil someone got a lil treat...
Beautiful beads...

And what better way to wrap the weekend up then with a beach trip.

The Huntington gardens were beautiful bit on my mama scale of 1 to 5 I give it a 2. A lil to pricey for not a lot of oooos and ahhhhhs. But...I love taking the kids to new places and appreciate the beauty around us.
