Braces...Toffee...and Bubbles...Enough said!

Our Johnny got BRACES!!!!!!!

 And before the pain set in I rushed them over to Thirfty for some old school ice cream...rented some flicks...and bunkered down at home.

Bella and I also wanted to experiment in the kitchen with a receipe we stumbled upon called "Toffee Crack"...I know right?  Why the name?  and I guess it's because housewives across the nation are addicted to this stuff...WEIRD...but still curious!  When Bella saw the name on the internet she asked "Like Butt crack Mommy (hehehe)?"  "Yes Bella, Like Butt Crack" (lesser of two evils I guess)..so we tried it...AND...YES...IT'S ADDITCING! OMG

So here we go...the worst part is that it is super easy to make

FIRST

INGREDIENTS

Saltines

1 cup of Brown Sugar

1 cup of Butter

1 Bag of Chocolate Chips

Nuts (optional)

Start by lining a cookie sheet with saltines...

In a saucepan combine and simmer the sugar and butter until sugar is totally dissolved..

Pour mixture over crackers and place in a oven preheated to 350 degrees for about 10 minutes

Sprinkle entire bag of chips over crackers and let it melt for a couple of minutes or until chips are glossy..

then spread the chocolate evenly...

Chop up some nuts...

Have adorable lil baker sprinkle them all over....

Allow same adorable child to lick the spoon (it's summertime..why not?)...

Finito...Delicioso...but...next...

Place in fridge and allow to set for 1 hour...yes, 1 hour...try to restrain yourself...then ATTACK...and let me know what you think?

And to finish off your day.....place a chubby lil baby in a tub full of bubbles!
